Short version: an adult gets in touch, we hold their contact details and two facts about the student, we use them only to arrange a conversation, and we delete them on request.

01What we collect
When a parent or counsellor fills in our inquiry form, we collect: your name, whether you are a parent or a counsellor, your email address and your phone number, along with the student's school, the student's current grade, your preferred time to meet, and the intended field of study or project idea you describe.
02What we deliberately do not collect
We do not ask for the student's name, email address or phone number, and our form cannot be submitted by a student. A school and a grade do not identify a child. We have no need for a student's own details until a project is agreed and they join us, so we do not gather them here.
03Why we collect it
Only to reply to you and arrange a conversation about a possible passion project. We do not use these details for advertising, we do not profile anyone, and we do not sell or rent them to anybody.
04On what basis
Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete what we hold.
05How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for three months and then delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will do that instead.
06Who else sees it
Nobody outside I-In-Stein reads your inquiry. The website is hosted by Vercel and our email runs on Google Workspace, so your message passes through their systems on its way to us. They process it only on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes.
07Students under 18
Our work is with students, most of whom are minors, so we are careful here. Inquiries come from an adult, and the student's own details stay with the family until a project begins. If a student emails us directly, we reply to that address and ask them to involve a parent or counsellor before we record anything about them.
